Kia, Korean sibling company of Hyundai, was somewhat more successful in winning over the frugal American car buying public. Many people view a Kia as a practical and economic automobile choice and not as a compromise on quality. To their credit, Kia designs have come along and improved substantially over the years, as well as the overall quality of their vehicles.
