Just about every Jeep vehicle is designed to be “Trail Rated”, to ensure that it can handle a multitude of difficult off-road challenges, such as travelling over jagged rocks or slippery Moab surfaces. The one exception to this is the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, which features an extremely powerful V8 engine as well as a suspension fine tuned for surface street travel. Among Jeep’s vehicles in the former category are the Wrangler, the Liberty, the standard Grand Cherokee, and also the seven-passenger Commander SUV.
